Contributors

Brian Boyd is the author of many biographical, critical, and bibliographical studies on Nabokov, of Nabokov's 'Ada' and the Place of Consciousness, and of a critical biography of Nabokov to be published by Simon and Schuster in 1989. He is Senior Lecturer in the Department of English of the University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Stanley Corkin teaches at the University of Cincinnati. He has previously published on film in Etc. and Southern Studies.

John Haegert, who is an Associate Professor of Modern Literature and Critical Theory at the University of Evansville, is author of many essays on modern and postmodern writers in journals such as Southern Review, Studies in Short Fiction, Contemporary Literature, Modern Philology, and Texas Studies in Literature and Language.

Gordon E. Slethaug, who has published essays on other recent writers such as John Updike, John Knowles, Ursula LeGuin, and Richard Brautigan, is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Waterloo in Ontario.

Christof Wegelin, a previous contributor to MFS, is author of many writings on Henry James, among them The Image of Europe in Henry James (1958) and the recent Norton edition of James's Tales (1984). He is Professor of English Emeritus at the University of Oregon.
