Chinmoy Banerjee, an associate professor at Simon Fraser University, has as his main interest eighteenth-century fiction and literary theory. He has published on Atwood and on the eighteenth century. He is presently working on Fielding.
Mark J. Madigan is a Ph.D. candidate in English at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Among his publications are articles on Willa Cather and Dorothy Canfield Fisher. He is presently editing Fisher's correspondence for his dissertation.
Eric Meyer, a Ph.D. candidate in English at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is at work on a dissertation on Romantic texts and historiography tentatively titled "Narratives of Development: Romanticism, Modernity, and Imperial History, 1760-1848." He has publications forthcoming on Ford Madox Ford and Thomas Pynchon.
Louis P. Kaplan is currently Walter Rathenau Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Verbund für Wissenschaftsgeschichte at the Technische Universität in Berlin where he is conducting research on the relations of science and literature in the work of the American critic of science, Charles Fort. His article on the deployment of the egg in 1920s photography recently appeared in the Bauhaus-Archiv's Bauhausfotos book.
Garry M. Leonard is Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Rhode Island and is the author of articles on Emily Dickinson, Sylvia Plath, and James Joyce. He has also written a book-length study of Dubliners.
Joanne Tompkins, lecturer at LaTrobe University, Melbourne, Australia, is the author of "Time Past, Time Passed: The Empowerment of Australian Feminist and Aboriginal Drama" to appear in Australian Drama Studies. [End Page 454]
