From the Editor

It is both an honor and a pleasure to succeed Lydie Moudileno and Gerald Prince as new Editor-in-Chief. They are to be commended for their fine work and tireless dedication.

I would like to take this opportunity to announce the opening up of the journal to French and Francophone cinema. My intent is to diversify and vitalize French Forum by making film studies an integral part of it. Submissions on all aspects in the field are therefore strongly encouraged. We will, however, continue to welcome and publish contributions on all periods and genres of French and Francophone literature.
