Congratulations to Carolyn Herbst Lewis, who has been awarded the 2007 Judith Lee Ridge Prize by the Western Association of Women Historians for her article "Waking Sleeping Beauty: The Premarital Pelvic Exam and Heterosexuality during the Cold War," which appeared in the winter 2005 (17.4) issue of the Journal of Women's History.
