Abstract
This review of recent books addressing Dickinson as one part of a larger project suggests that Dickinson studies are having an influence on scholars who are dealing broadly with theories of literature, the lyric, or American canonicity. The essay reviews books by Nina Baym, Thomas Foster, Diana Fuss, Adam Sweeting, Helen Vendler, and Leslie Wheeler.
