Genetic Algorithms in Visual Art and Music

The editors regret that we were unable to include the second and final installment of the special section "Genetic Algorithms in Visual Art and Music," guest edited by Colin G. Johnson and Juan Jesús Cardalda, in this issue of Leonardo. The first installment of this special section was published in Volume 35, No. 2, and at that time we announced that the final group of papers would be published in this issue. Unfortunately, owing to page limitations, we have had to postpone publishing the final Genetic Algorithm papers until Volume 36, No. 1 (February 2003) of Leonardo. We thank you for your patience.
