On the center problem for ordinary differential equations

We study the Center Problem for equations v' = Σ^∞_i=1a_i(x)vⁱ⁺¹. This problem is closely connected to the classical Poincaré Center-Focus problem about the characterization of planar polynomial vector fields whose integral trajectories are closed curves with interiors containing a fixed point, a center.
