Geoffrey Gorham is assistant professor of philosophy, University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. His recent publications include "Cartesian Causation: Continuous, Instantaneous, Overdertermined" in Journal of the History of Philosophy (Fall 2004) and "Descartes on the Innateness of All Ideas" in Canadian Journal of Philosophy (Fall 2002).

Diane Greco Josefowicz received her Ph.D. in the history of science from MIT in 1999. Her dissertation focused on the early nineteenth-century history of terrestrial magnetism at the university of Goettingen. She is a lecturer in the University Writing Program at Columbia University.

Vasso Kindi is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Philosophy and History of Science of the University of Athens, Greece. She is the author of Kuhn &Wittgenstein (1991, in Greek) and the editor of the Greek philosophy journal Cogito. She works on Kuhn, Wittgenstein and issues in the philosophy of history.

Erika Mattila is a doctoral candidate in philosophy at the University of Helsinki. She is currently working at the Center for Activity Theory and Developmental Work Research. Her thesis examines the organisation of interdisciplinary research work with a special focus on the functions of models in the production of scientific knowledge.

Ann Johnson is an assistant professor at the University of South Carolina where she has a joint appointment in the departments of History and Philosophy. Her main research interest is in the history and philosophy of engineering. She earned her PhD in 2000 from Princeton University's Program in the History of Science, where her dissertation dealt with the development of antilock braking systems for automobiles in the 1960s and 70s. That work is being revised into a book, tentatively titled Designing ABS: Engineering Culture and the Production of Knowledge, and is under contract with Duke University Press.
