It has come to Professor Paul Williams's attention that certain terms and turns of phrase in his article "Witnessing Genocide: Vigilance and Remembrance at Tuol Sleng and Choeung Ek" in Holocaust and Genocide Studies 18:2 (Fall 2004), pp. 234–54, were previously expressed by Rachel Hughes in her articles "Remembering May 20—Day of Anger," Searching for the Truth 12 (2003), unpaginated; and "The abject artefacts of memory: photographs from Cambodia's genocide," Media, Culture, and Society 25 (January 2003), pp. 23–44. Williams would like to state that his p. 244 should include a citation to p. 25 of Hughes's 2003 article, and that p. 249 should include a citation to her 2002 article.
