Alan P. Barr is Professor of English at Indiana University Northwest. He teaches and publishes on Victorian literature, modern drama, and film. He has edited The Major Prose of Thomas Henry Huxley; Thomas Huxley's Place in Science and Letters: Centenary Essays; and Modern Women Playwrights of Europe. He has written on the Rossettis, Shaw, evolutionary science, and the woman question.

Florence S. Boos is Professor of English at the University of Iowa. She is the editor of History and Community: Essays in Victorian Medievalism (1992) and author of The Design of William Morris' The Earthly Paradise (1991).

Jill Ehnenn is Assistant Professor of English at Appalachian State University where she teaches Victorian literature and queer theory. She has published articles on Victorian representations of Shakespeare's heroines, Dorothy Wordsworth, and the contemporary lesbian romance novel. Her book Women's Literary Collaboration, Queerness, and Late-Victorian Culture is forthcoming with Ashgate Press.

F. Elizabeth Gray is Lecturer in English at Massey University, New Zealand. She has published articles on women's poetry and the nineteenth-century periodical press and is currently researching women's writing at the fin-de-siècle.

Donald E. Hall is Jackson Professor of British Literature at West Virginia University. His most recent book is Subjectivity (Routledge, 2004).
