Introduction
This is the second number of JAAS's millennial trilogy. The first, published in February 2000 featured pedagogy and community. In this number, guest editors Yen Le Espiritu, Dorothy Fujita Rony, Nazli Kibria, and George Lipsitz explore the articulations of race. We welcome the authors for their contributions, thank the guest editors for their kind labors, and urge our readers to engage the stimulating essays of this number.
