Single Title Sales Program
At this time, Project MUSE is not selling the books in the UPCC Collections on a title-by-title basis. However, in response to both library and publisher interest, we are partnering with third parties to facilitate the purchasing of individual book titles on the MUSE platform. This initiative will allow libraries to acquire electronic books on MUSE through familiar, established channels while taking advantage of the many library-friendly features of UPCC books on MUSE.
- UPCC Publishers opt-in to participation in the single title sales program
- Publishers select the books that will be available for purchase on an individual basis
- Publishers set the prices for single title purchasing
- Purchasing currently available through YBP Library Services; title availability information accessible through YBP’s GOBI3 interface
Libraries are encouraged to contact YBP for more information on incorporating UPCC books in eApproval plans, receiving title notifications, and how to order individual titles.
For more information on Project MUSE’s partnership with YBP Library Services, please see our press release.
