Journal Archival Issues

Project MUSE is committed to providing the scholarly community with access to journal content in the humanities and social sciences that is wide ranging in subject matter and extensive in years covered. MUSE will continue to supplement current journal content with archival content for many of its journals and to increase the number of journals that have their complete run in MUSE. A complete run means the coverage in MUSE starts with volume 1, issue/number 1 and continues through to the most recent issue.

MUSE and its participating publishers will continue to add archival content to the MUSE collection of journals. As always:

  • Back issues will be available to any subscriber that has access to that title.
  • Back issue content will be made available at no additional cost to subscribers through a cost-sharing arrangement with the publishers.
