Australian and New Zealand Association of Medieval and Early Modern Studies (Inc.)

Website: http://www.anzamems.arts.uwa.edu.au/

ANZAMEMS exists to promote medieval and early modern studies in Australia and New Zealand. It was formed in 1996 by the merger of ANZAMRS (Australian and New Zealand Association of Medieval and Renaissance Studies) and AHMEME (Australian Historians of Medieval and Early Modern Europe). ANZAMEMS has members throughout Australia and New Zealand, and is run by a committee of office-bearers from both countries. ANZAMEMS publishes its own refereed journal PARERGON, which appears in January and July each year. Membership of ANZAMEMS includes a subscription to PARERGON. ANZAMEMS also hosts a biennial international conference in medieval and early modern studies.
