Encouraging MUSE Use on Your CampusWe at Project MUSE know that libraries want their users to be informed about the resources the library purchases and makes available to patrons. We offer the following suggestions and tools to help you increase awareness of MUSE on campus. Use the online form to request Project MUSE promotional materials for your library including posters, postcards listing journals by subject, keyboard calendars, and copies of MUSE News. Use our PDF instructional handouts, including an Introduction to Project MUSE and guides to Searching in MUSE and Working with Search Results, in your library instruction classes. Distribute guides to MUSE journals by subject to your subject liaisons, or pass them out to your faculty departments. Users can sign up to receive e-mail notification of new journal titles and new issues released in MUSE for their favorite journal titles or in the subject areas of their choice. The new issue alerts include links to tables of contents. Use the Create List of MUSE Journal Holdings tool to download a list of data you might need, such as titles, URLs, coverage information, and ISSN. Let students and faculty on campus know about the availability of MUSE on your campus by putting a press release in your library newsletter or campus newspaper. Keep up with MUSE News and pass updates on to your faculty and users.
